When to Drink Water

19.5.11
Drinking water at certain time maximizes it's effectiveness on the body:

2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs

1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion

1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps
lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

"Daddy......it hurts"

12.5.11

This is a true story....

My name is Chris ,
I am three,
My eyes are swollen..
I cannot see.

I must be stupid, I must be bad, what else could have made , my daddy so mad?
I wish I were better, I wish I weren't ugly, Then maybe my mummy, would still want to hug me.

I can't do a wrong, I can't speak at all, or else I'm locked up, all day long.

When I'm awake, I'm all alone, the house is dark, My folks aren't home.
When my mum does come home,I'll try and be nice, So maybe I'll just get, One whipping tonight.

I just heard a car, My daddy is back, from the Race Track and Bar

I hear him curse, and my name is called, I press myself, against the wall.

I try to hide, from his evil eyes, I'm so afraid now, I'm starting to cry.

He finds me weeping, and calls me ugly words,
He says its my fault, he suffers at work.

He slaps and hits me, and yells at me more,
I finally get free, and run to the door.

It's already been locked, and I start to bawl,
He takes me and throws me, against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor, with my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues, with more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!', I scream,
But it's now much to late, His face has been twisted, Into a unimaginable shape.
The hurt and the pain, again and again...

O please God, have mercy!
O please let it end!

And he finally stops, and heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless, sprawled on the floor.

My name is Chris ,
I am three,
Tonight my daddy, Murdered me.
And you can help,
It sickens me to the soul, If you read this, and don't pass it on.

I pray for your forgiveness,
You would have to be,
One heartless person,
Not to be affected,
By this poem..

And because you ARE affected,
Do something about it!
So all I ask you to do,
Is to please pass this on!

You just never know, this could
happen to one of your own.

At least five children each day from around the world die from child abuse!!!!

Recover

11.5.11
There are five things that you cannot recover in life:

   (1) The Stone...........after it's thrown,
(2) The Word............after it's said,
         (3) The Occasion......after it's missed,
(4) The Time.............after it's gone,
  (5) A person.............after they die.

Saying Grace In A Restaurant

9.5.11
    cid:1.1295898978@web45001.mail.sp1.yahoo.com

Last week, I took my children to a restaurant.

My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace.

As we bowed our heads he said, 'God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert.  And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!'

Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby, I heard a woman remark,

'That's what's wrong with this country.  Kids today don't even know how to pray.  Asking God for ice cream!  Why, I never!'

Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, 'Did I do it wrong? Is God mad at me?'

As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job, and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table.

He winked at my son and said, 'I happen to know that God thought that was a great prayer.'

'Really?' my son asked.

'Cross my heart,' the man replied.

Then, in a theatrical whisper, he added (indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), 'Too bad she never asks God for ice cream.  A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes.'

Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal. My son stared at his for a moment, and then did something I will remember the rest of my life.

He picked up his sundae and, without a word, walked over and placed it in front of the woman.  With a big smile he told her, 'Here, this is for you.  Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already.'
